Announcing the NEW Booker T.
MUSIC GUILD GUARDIAN Program!

The Booker T. Washington Music Guild has established its new Guardian Program, which will allow guild members, friends and fans of Booker T. Washington music programs to make monetary contributions over and above the annual $15/year membership dues and/or to pledge hours of volunteer assistance as needs arise in the BTW music department.

All monetary donations are tax deductible and will enable the Music Guild to offer even stronger financial support to all BTW music programs in a variety of ways, including purchasing music and supplies for music faculty use in the classroom, providing  meals for students engaged in after-school or evening rehearsals and performances, covering transportation expenses for equipment needed for off-campus performances and assisting with expenses incurred by faculty for attendance at continuing education programs and conferences.

Service hour donors will be requested to assist with various projects and programs of the Music Guild, or as and when needed by BTW music faculty.  Volunteer service will vary but might include tasks like preparing or providing meals to students and faculty involved in after-school or evening activities, providing administrative or “back office” type assistance to guild leaders or BTW music faculty, chaperoning off-campus music cluster events, staffing music guild merchandise and membership tables during registration and on other occasions and assisting with logistics and planning for various guild fundraising and other functions.

The Music Guild Guardian Program will allow donors to contribute on one of several optional levels:

Platinum Guardian -    $1,000 and above        or         21 - 25 hours/month

Gold Guardian -          $500 - $999                 or         11 - 20 hours/month

Silver Guardian -         $250 - $499                 or         6  - 10 hours/month

Bronze Guardian -      $100 - $249                 or
up to 5 hours/month

In addition to the satisfaction of providing substantial support and resources for the very talented and worthy music students and faculty at Booker T. Washington, Platinum Guardians will enjoy these additional benefits:

♪   Reserved seating at the Montgomery Arts Theater (MAT) for all music cluster performances; AND

♪    Reserved parking in the faculty parking lot adjacent to the MAT.

Guardians at all contribution levels will receive an automobile window decal bearing the BTW Music Guild logo, so they can publicly show their support for Booker T. Washington’s music students and their talented teachers.
