Symphony Orchestra - Luis Martinez & David Large
The BTWHS Full Orchestra is comprised of approximately 65 students, from both band and orchestra departments. The Full Orchestra is directed by both David Large and Luis Martinez. Orchestral groups at BTW are directed by David Large and consist of 3 performing ensembles: The orchestras and ensembles perform in many district and non-district functions. These students also participate in the TMEA All City, Region & All- State Competition and the UIL Solo & Ensemble Competition.In 2009, the BTWHSPVA Orchestra won a Student Downbeat Award for best orchestra performance by a performing arts high school. |
